Warmer weather is officially here and no matter how hard I try, I swear my kids always run warm while they sleep. Of course, it makes zero sense because I’m literally ALWAYS freezing but anyway…June is the time when we switch over to lighter pajamas and I’ve rounded up some of our favorites for this summer. Especially for the twins, now that they turned one, I’ll put them in a short-sleeved set and use a lightweight sleep sack if we get an extra cool night. Check out some of our favorites and keep those little ones extra comfy and cute!
ONE / For more neutral options, Old Navy just put out a bunch of short-sleeved sets for kids that are pretty cute and affordable. If you love a good holiday outfit, they also did a set with stars and stripes (and one with pants).
TWO / For my big kids, I discovered Amazon Essentials a while ago and have been really happy with them. Their pajamas are even better quality than I expected and they have a good mix of prints at a good price, too. We just got this set for Bennett (age 6) and he says they’re super comfy!
THREE / Pajamas by Burt’s Bees Baby have been some of our favorites because they last for-ev-errrr. I still have some from when Bennett was a baby and that was FIVE YEARS ago; they seriously hold up so well! I just picked up a fresh set of flamingos and palm trees for the twins but it was hard to choose because there are so many good ones! IMO – or at least with my crew, they tend to run a little long in the pants/one-piece sleepers, FYI.
FOUR / Gap has their pajamas on sale right now and they have options for boys, girls and babies but I feel like they usually sell out pretty quickly. Get while the gettin’s good!
FIVE / We love our Hannas and they’re doing up to 30% off of all rainbow prints for pride month and have a ton of others on sale, too. BTW, they’ve also been our go-to for swim gear, especially rashguards!
SIX / These sailboat and sunshine rompers from Little Sleepies are the cutest! They have prints and solids that are offered in all different styles of pajamas which I love. Free shipping is included for orders over $25 and you can score 10% off when you sign up to receive emails.
SEVEN / Honest Baby has organic cotton 4-piece sets if you need both long and short sleeve styles. They’re also having a sale right now, plus you can get 15% off your order when you join their community.
EIGHT / If you’re in the market for a light sleep sack, we’ve really liked the wearable blanket by aden + anais. It’s basically like their muslin swaddle turned into a sleep sack. Especially good for tots who are crawling or standing; our twins can still move around their crib easily while wearing the sack. PS it’s definitely not the same as their sleeping bag (which is thicker/warmer) so be sure to note the difference when shopping.
A few other shops that have cute sleepwear are H&M (more for babies, not as much for kids), Primary.com, and of course Target; which of course I shop at all the time but depending on the brand, quality can be hit or miss!
